_{[yeah, just finding some reason to update my journal here. *cough*]}

Character day today. I went as Reno, from Final Fantasy. Which is ironic, since I never played the game before. [well, more like, started to play but never finished.] I did watch FFAC though, but I didn't get half of it because I never finished playing the game =A=.

ANYWAY. I ended up only knowing what kind of personality this Reno person has. Hey, he's pretty cute too [< maybe that's why I decided to be him XD And this was weird. BECAUSE RYAN CHIN COULD QUOTE ME AND I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THE CONTEXT WAS.

BUT. GOOD CAME OUT OF IT.

...coz apparently, my self-proclaimed "half-assed cosplay" - which consisted of a bunch of random stuff including my dad's insanely large dress shoes that made me walk like a gangster - turned out better than I thought.

...and it was espesially amusing when I could hear the guys in my math class debate on whether I had dyed my hair red, or worn a wig. They asked in the end anyway, with pretty bad timing though... since it was still during the middle of class. They were kind of both wrong, since the short hair on the top was my Sasori wig restyled with a lot of hidden pins in it, and the long pony-tail thing down the back was my own hair spray-dyed red. owo

OH GOSH, I JUST NOTICED. CAN YOU IMAGINE RENO SITTING IN A MATH CLASSROOM DOING INTEGRELS AND FINDING ANTIDERIVATIVES? 8DDDDD


..I guess in the end I was pretty happy about the day, since more people than I expected recognized the character. XD 'Guess there're still quite a lot of gamers out there!





HIGHLIGHT: at the end of the day when I took off my wig, combed my now-pretty-short-hair back in place (yeah, I just cut my hair last week. it's acutally really pretty Reno-ish), and put on my glasses, I looked like Kichiku Megane. =A=;;
Seriously, I looked like an entirely different person without glasses and red hair as compared to slick black hair [combed back with water] and glasses. I was VERY amused.
